We always love getting the opportunity to photograph the exchange of vows at the top of a mountain. This past July, when Brie & Mark approached us to capture their quaint & small Sunday wedding at the Eagles Eye Restaurant at Kicking Horse Resort, we knew it would be absolutely beautiful, and right up our alley. With amazing views deep into the Rockies in one direction, and Rogers Pass in another direction, no matter where you look from up there, there are jaw dropping mountains, or vast views of the Columbia Valley. It also hosts one of the most stunningly beautiful ceremony backdrops we could ever ask for!
With her wearing an untraditional navy blue wedding dress, and him in a kilt, it made for a great switch from the typical white wedding dress & suit! These two were awesome, and ready and game for any shot we wanted to take, or to climb wherever we needed them to. Brie even ended up staggering up a very steep & short, rocky trail in her heeled boots, in order for us to capture a pretty magical moment. Thanks Brie!
3 hours and a few adventures later, it was all over. They we married at the top of the world, and we had some amazing memories to pass on to them. Thanks so much for letting us capture your day!
